St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Parish welcomes registered families with children who do not attend Catholic school to enroll in our Children and Youth Formation process. Faith formation sessions are offered for children in kindergarten through 10th grade. Sessions begin in August and end in mid-February.
The goal of Children and Youth Formation is to assist our young church members to encounter the person of Jesus Christ in their lives and to convert their lives to stay in relationship Him for the rest of their lives.
Our Faith Formation process is one of the most vital ministries. We teach the tenants of our Catholic faith. Our philosophy is to provide the best Catholic education to those who seek it, while invoking the Holy Spirit to guide our minds and hearts. Our mission is to be faithful in our teaching of the truths of our church, to build our faith community and be "Christ-like" with all whom we encounter. We hope to lead our youth toward full, active, and conscious participation in the liturgy and life of the church. We believe that our program is one of the means of responding to God's invitation to share in His mission of proclaiming the Gospel of salvation to all.

Mass attendance is critical to your child's faith formation. Faith must be practiced to be meaningful, and Mass attendance as a family is an important part of your and your children's faith formation. Remember that parents are
the first and most important teachers of the faith to their children.
We encourage you to take your children to Mass.
