Begun 20 years ago by Father Oscar Solis who is now a bishop, some members of Prays Twice ministry were involved in the earlier
folk group at St. Joseph. When the Life Teen groups originated in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, Father Oscar asked two of the
members to go, experience the music, and learn. They did, they liked it, and have played at St. Joseph ever since.
Three founding members have remained active over the years and others have been involved as the events of their lives permitted.
The group plays for the 6 p.m. Sunday evening Masses.
