Our grief ministry supports those who have experienced the loss of a parent, spouse, child, friend, sibling or significant other.
We realize that you may be experiencing some of the most powerful and painful feelings of your life. The many feelings of grief may seem uncomfortable and threatening to you. It hurts! Participating in a support group offers a safe place where people can come together for mutual support, to learn that their feelings are normal, and that one need not be alone in their journey.
Those who are experiencing grief can make an appointment to meet with one of our priests or a member of our pastoral staff by calling 985-446-1387.
Grief support group sessions are held at intervals throughout the year based on need and requests from parishioners. Please see the flyer below for specific information on our new and up-coming 8-session program.
We know the path on which you are walking because we have walked it as well at some point in our lives. Our prayers are with you...
Beginning in September, we are offering an all-new and creative grief ministry program which promotes healing and personal growth. All adults of any age who are grieving the loss of any loved one are welcome to attend.
Gatherings will take place in the Life Center on eight successive Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
